Our Experts
Long-term carbon pricing experts from Germany organise and implement the training activities in this Capacity Building programme. These experts have been involved in the design of the EU ETS and its implementation in Germany. Our experts therefore provide the capacity building activities with valuable expertise on the various topics of ETS set-up and implementation, including design elements, legislative framework, governance, trading and market aspects or private sector engagement.
The different experts come from:
- the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK),
- the German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt),
- adelphi consult GmbH,
- Ecologic Institute gemeinnützige GmbH,
- FutureCamp Climate GmbH, and
- Öko-Institut e.V..
