German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt)

The German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt) at the German Environment Agency (UBA) has been the national authority responsible for the implementation of the EU ETS in Germany since 2004 and has also been responsible for the implementation of the national emissions trading (nEHS) since 2021.
